The media and fans just can't get enough of this famous Bollywood pair. So it makes sense that the magazine would choose the power couple for the front cover. The two flew over to Mauritius for the shoot. Ooh, what a nice place for them to go on romantic dates! Sources say that the clothing that was provided for the shoot is from Chanel, Gaultier and Valentino. Very nice! The stylists from the brands flew into Mauritius all the way from Milan.
We all know that Kareena Kapoor is far from being a low maintenance chic, considering the fact that the girl has her dietician find places for her to eat at anywhere in the globe that she travels to! So it doesn't surprise us that the famous makeup artist Shubash Vagal did her makeup. Vagal is also the makeup artist for the beautiful Aishwariya Rai Bachchan. So you know Kareena Kapoor is going to look good!
For over 140 years Harper's Bazaar magazine has represented elegance, style and inspiration for women internationally. The couple definitely represents style and elegance which makes them a good pair for the front cover. Mauritius was the location picked because the Mauritius Destination Association is trying to improve brand positioning in the Indian market. By featuring luxurious vacations to Mauritius in the magazine they hope to get closer to achieving this. The Director of the Mauritius Tourism Association remarked, 'Mauritius Tourism association with Harper's Bazaar-India is an opportunity to reach out to the high-yielding travelers from the Indian market. With this activity the Mauritius destination visibility gets further scaled to global frontiers as Bollywood today has an international appeal.'
